FAQS

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Thinking about representation?

Here are the most common questions influencers ask before applying to join our roster.

If your platform aligns, apply below.
Every application is personally reviewed.

What is influencer management? Influencer management means having a dedicated team supporting the business side of your platform. At Incendia, we focus on building and managing brand partnerships on behalf of the influencers we represent. This includes brand outreach, negotiating deals, reviewing contracts, coordinating campaigns, and managing communication with brands. Our goal is to bring structure, strategy, and protection to the partnerships surrounding your platform so you can stay focused on creating and growing your audience.

What happens once I have management? Once you have management, you’re no longer handling the business side of your platform alone. We support brand partnerships from start to finish — sourcing opportunities, negotiating terms, reviewing contracts, coordinating deliverables, and communicating with brands throughout the campaign. You remain the voice and creative direction behind your platform, while we focus on structuring the partnerships around it.

What happens after I apply? Once you submit your application, our team reviews your platform, audience engagement, and overall alignment with the influencers we represent. If there appears to be a strong fit, we’ll reach out to schedule a conversation to learn more about your goals and discuss what representation with Incendia could look like. Because we keep our roster intentionally curated, we’re not able to move forward with every application — but we carefully review each one.

What makes Incendia different from other agencies? Incendia was built from the creator side of the industry — not just the brand side. Our founder started as a creator and spent years working across both brand marketing and influencer partnerships before launching the agency. That means we understand the reality creators deal with every day: unanswered emails, confusing contracts, undervalued rates, and the pressure of trying to run a business while also creating content. We also keep our roster intentionally curated. We don’t believe in managing hundreds of creators at once. Instead, we focus on working closely with a smaller group of creators where we can be proactive — building real relationships with brands, negotiating strong partnerships, and supporting long-term growth. Another key difference is that we don’t only work with creators who are already fully monetized. We often work with creators who have built meaningful platforms and communities but haven’t yet turned that into consistent brand partnership income. Our goal isn’t just to manage deals — it’s to help creators build sustainable creator businesses while protecting their time, their brand, and the value of their work.

What if I’ve never worked with a agency before? That’s actually very common. Most creators who come to us have been doing everything themselves — answering emails, negotiating deals, reviewing contracts, tracking deliverables, and trying to create content at the same time. Working with management simply means you no longer have to handle all of that alone. We step in to manage the business side of your platform: brand outreach, negotiations, contracts, timelines, and communication with brands. You’re always kept in the loop and involved in the decisions that matter, but you’re not stuck handling the logistics yourself anymore. For many creators, the biggest shift is realizing how much mental space opens up when someone else is protecting the deals, organizing the partnerships, and making sure everything runs smoothly — so you can focus on creating and growing your brand.

Do you work with international creators? At the moment, we primarily manage creators based in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and United Kingdom. However, we occasionally make exceptions for creators whose brand alignment, audience demographics, and niche fit our existing brand partnerships. If you’re unsure, apply anyway — we’ll review your information and reach out if there’s potential alignment.

What if I’m already under contract with another agency? If you’re currently represented elsewhere, we recommend reviewing your existing contract before applying. We can only work with creators who are contractually free to sign with new management. If you’re in the process of transitioning out, we can help you review your agreement, understand your exit terms, and time your onboarding so that you don’t lose momentum or opportunities during the switch.

How do I know if I’m ready for management? You may be ready for management if you’ve built a strong platform with consistent content and an engaged audience, and you’re ready to begin treating your platform more intentionally as a business. Some influencers come to us after they’ve already worked with brands, while others have built meaningful platforms but haven’t yet begun monetizing them. If you believe your platform has the potential to support brand partnerships, it may be the right time to explore representation.

Do I need to already be making money from brand partnerships? No. Some influencers we work with are already partnering with brands, while others have built strong platforms that haven’t yet been fully monetized. What matters most is the strength of your platform, the connection you have with your audience, and your readiness to begin approaching brand partnerships more strategically.

What does Incendia look for when reviewing applications? When reviewing applications, we look at several factors including your niche, content quality, audience engagement, and the overall potential for brand partnerships. We’re particularly interested in influencers who have built trust with their audience and are intentional about the long-term growth of their platform.

Is Incendia an exclusive agency? Yes — Incendia Social is an exclusive management agency. That means if we work together, we become your main point of contact for all brand partnerships. We represent you fully, and manage everything from outreach to invoicing. This allows us to give every creator on our roster the attention, communication, and advocacy they deserve. Instead of competing priorities or scattered representation, you’ll have one dedicated team protecting your interests while amplifying your value across every deal. We’re not here just to “find you work.” We’re here to build your career, earn your trust and be the partner that helps you grow long-term.

What are your agency fees? We operate though a hybrid payment model—a small monthly retainer plus 20% commission on closed brand deals. The flat fee covers the real work that happens behind the scenes — pitching, outreach, strategy, follow-ups, contract reviews, and communication that keep your brand partnerships moving. The commission kicks in when we secure paid deals, so we’re always motivated to help you earn more. Here’s the truth: most agencies only work on commission, and that sounds appealing — until you realize what that actually means. When there’s no active deal on the table, there’s no incentive for them to pitch you, check in, or build new relationships on your behalf. You end up sitting on a roster, waiting for something to happen, while your inbox stays quiet and if you’ve signed a long-term exclusive contract, you’re stuck — losing valuable time, momentum, and money. We don’t believe in that model. You deserve consistent effort, communication, and strategy — even when you’re not in the middle of a campaign. Our hybrid setup means we stay proactive and fully invested in your brand whether you’re mid-campaign or in a slower month. Because of how hands-on we are, we only take on a limited number of creators at a time. This model allows us to stay sustainable as a small, creator-founded agency while giving every roster creator the attention and strategy they deserve. At the end of the day, our goal is simple: to give you your time back, take the stress off your plate, and help you scale your income without burnout — knowing you have a team that’s as invested in your success as you are.

Will I lose control over my brand or content? Not at all. You’re still the creator and the voice behind your platform — we’re simply here to support the business side of it. Our role is to handle the things that tend to overwhelm creators as their platform grows: brand outreach, negotiations, contracts, timelines, and logistics. But the direction of your content, the brands you choose to work with, and the way you show up online always stays in your hands. Think of it less like someone taking over, and more like having a partner in your corner who helps protect your time, your brand, and the value of your work. At the end of the day, you’re the talent — we’re just here to make sure the opportunities around your platform are structured, professional, and aligned with what you actually want to build.

Do you guarantee brand deals? No agency can guarantee brand deals — but we do guarantee consistent, proactive representation strong brand relationships, and proven systems that have generated over $100K+ in brand partnerships for our creators.
